Abortion and Contraception
Posted by Tracy

Last weekend I went to Vienna with my husband.  Iwas surprised to find Jewish museums there, and even more surprised to find a museum all about contraception and abortion.

I visited the two Jewish museums.  In one, the Jewish people who were murdered during World War Two are remembered in words and with a memorial.  There are no graphic pictures.  Nothing shocking.   Looking at the beautiful photographs of the vibrant young Jewish people in today’s Vienna, it seems unthinkable that their fellow Jews were treated so brutally.

I did not go to the other museum, the one about contraception and abortion.  Some things are just too close to home.
